Bilal Adhami is a seasoned Insurance Professional with over 25 years of experience in the Middle East region (and beyond). His expertise trades around defining, directing, and expanding insurance operations to lead and restructure underwriting, operations, distribution and other channels, to work diligently and uncover new ways to drive profitability and increase market share. Through his management skills in providing strategic and hands-on leadership, he has been vital in improving performance of organizations, teams, and P&L (top and bottom lines), despite industry challenges.

Bilal began his insurance career at the ground level with AXA Insurance —as an Account Executive —and advanced to a variety of roles with Multinational players, such as Regional Personal Lines Manager for AIG, Chief Operating Officer for AIG Egypt, Managing Director of AIG Saudi Arabia, Head of International Business Development, Inward Facultative Reinsurance and, Head of Commercial Lines for Oman Insurance.

Badri has more than 30 years of insurance experience in the areas of underwriting, claims, operations, product development and training in both India and Gulf. Badri started his career as Technical Officer in a Public Sector company in India and later joined giant Reliance General Insurance as Deputy General Manager – Technical. Before leaving India for better opportunities in Gulf, he was heading the Technical functions of the Western India Operation of Royal & Sun Alliance in the capacity of General Manager. After a brief stint with the Banking and Insurance Regulator of Saudi Arabia in the area of Technical training, he worked with T’azur Company b.s.c, Bahrain as Head of General Takaful Technical Functions and later with Noor Takaful as Head of General Takaful Business before joining us.

With more than 12 years’ of in-depth experience in Medical Insurance, Christelle Hage leads the team of Medical, for Underwriting, Operations and Claim functions. Her experience is further enhanced in contracting and pricing, product development, capitalizing on emerging business development initiatives, reinsurance and actuarial analytics.

In her recent position with Allianz Worldwide Partners (Dubai), Christelle assumed the role of Business Development Manager – Health Reinsurance Middle East and Africa. Prior to Allianz, she has worked with reputed organizations such as AccuMed (Dubai) and Burgan Insurance (Lebanon).

Raji Sabbah, a progressive actuarial specialist with an insurance experience over a decade. Armed with skills in obtaining pertinent and accurate information, Raji’s vast technical knowledge of Consumer Lines, Actuarial Science and Business Analytics, has impacted the success of the Underwriting and Claims operations within the organisation and continues to improvise the department functionalities.

Raji has previously worked in reputed organizations such, Islamic Arab Insurance Company (SALAMA), Qatar General Insurance & Reinsurance and lastly with Dubai Islamic Insurance & Reinsurance Company (AMAN) where he was appointed as Executive Director – Operations department.

Tammam Abdullah has more than 19 years of experience in Insurance Industry, developing customer-centric business relationship, and driving digital transformation plans. He is experienced in managing Brokers Relationships, Sales & Distribution through multichannel product/services, Product Customization and new market identification. Along with immense understanding and insights on business development strategies, portfolio management and customer engagement, adds value to his role to head the Distribution team in the company.

In his recent position in Takaful Emarat, he assumed the role of Chief Commercial Officer and was a former Corporate Solution Director in the same company. Tammam has held various positions in MetLife and Arab Life and Accident Insurance Company in Jordan.

Obbad is a collaborative leader with a focus on building a culture of inclusivity, responsibility and high performance. With over 20 years of experience in the Insurance and Asset Management industry spanning three geographies, Obbad is a seasoned Finance professional who oversees and drives strategic deliveries and tactical matters pertaining to financial budgets and analysis, forecasting, regulatory and financial reporting, credit & controls in addition to the day to day financial operations at Fidelity United. Obbad is a member of Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Ontario - Canada, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) - UK and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).

Obbad has international experience, most recently in Canada where he led the Financial Planning and Analysis team at Combined Insurance Canada (a subsidiary of one of the largest Publicly traded Insurance groups in the world - Chubb Insurance Group). Prior to that he held the positions of Director of Expense Management & Treasury at Munich Reinsurance Canada, Financial Controller at National Takaful Company - Watania and Financial Controller & Company Secretary at Tokio Marine Middle East Limited.

Ragheda El Khoury, a professional with developed skills in Strategic Business Management, Project Management, actuarial, ERM and Treaty Management, brings with her an overall experience of more than 20 years in the insurance industry. Her role in the company is to build and implement the company’s operational strategy and optimize the business workflows for greater productivity. In addition to her role, Ragheda’s plays a big role in facilitating the delivery of excellent customer service processes throughout the organization, ensuring everybody is meeting standards and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Previously, she had assumed various roles during her tenure with Bankers Assurance SAL, Lebanon, such as Actuarial and Reinsurance Manager before shifting to the UAE to work with Dubai Islamic Insurance & Reinsurance Company (AMAN) as Director – Reinsurance & Actuarial Science.

Asif is an accomplished and result oriented leader with 20+ years of solid General and Life Insurance experience in UAE and India. He has demonstrated ability to lead professional teams that runs successful claims operations by implementing strategies and digital transformation to deliver excellent service to customers. Asif has wealth of experience in claims management, TPA Management, audit, project management and Systems implementations. He has played an instrumental role in introducing strategic initiatives through cost containment measures which contributed in improving the bottom line.

Prior to joining Fidelity United, Asif assumed the role of Head of Claims in SALAMA and before that he held various positions like Manager Operations, Head of Projects and lastly Head of Claims with Noor Takaful PJSC. He was engaged on consultancy role by TATA-AIG as business analyst to develop their direct to customer channel for retail products. He is an Engineering graduate in Electronics with MBA degree in Finance & Information Technology. He is a certified internal auditor for ISO quality management system and is trained in Six Sigma Green belt process re-engineering.

Jasper Varon has 22+ years of experience in Information Technology, out of which 17 years in the Insurance domain around Business Process Engineering, Software and Solution Delivery, Infrastructure and Security across all areas of Project Management, Business Analysis, Quality Assurance and Development in multiple countries. Jasper started his insurance domain experience with AIG Philippines supporting multiple AIG countries worldwide and then moving to Oman Insurance in Dubai, where he held vital roles in modernizing the IT business applications.

Ambreen joined Fidelity United in 2020, bringing a wealth of experience to her role of strategic leadership in planning and implementing quality-based, integrated human resources programs. Mazen Al-Ssaman is an insurance professional with more than 10 years’ experience in the insurance industry in UAE.

With a special focus on Broker Relationship Management and Business Development, he leads the Abu Dhabi Branch. Focused on customer centric approach, he believes in efforts and persistence to reach success and overcome challenges.

Prior to this role, Mazen has worked with reputed multinational and regional companies such as Zurich, Lebanese Insurance, and Oman Insurance Company where his last appointment was Branch Manager of Al Ain region.

Shalabh Gupta having more than 16 years of experience in the insurance industry, leads the Sharjah Branch.

His expertise lies in the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities to increase premium growth, elevate market share and outperform competition in specific insurance fields.

In his recent position with Noor Takaful, he assumed the role of Head – Broking Department, he was a former Senior Relationship Manager and Relationship Manager in the same department. Prior to this, he was Associate Regional Manager with ICICI Prudential, UAE.

Najwa Tounsi comes with a vast experience of around 24 years’ in the insurance industry. Her passion for business development and sustaining lasting customer relationships contributes to acquiring new opportunities in the organization, where she leads the Ras Al Khaimah branch. Being a veteran in the industry, Najwa’s profile is also enhanced by her interpersonal skills with customers and colleagues and by her strong awareness of the Ras Al Khaimah region.

Prior to this role, Najia has worked with reputed regional companies such as Oman Insurance Company, where she assumed the role of Acting Branch Manager and Union Insurance Company where she was appointed for the role of Business Development Manager.

Ammar is an industry professional with over 27 years of experience in the insurance sector in the Middle East. He possesses a range of expertise in motor claims and underwriting and other general lines of business. Ammar is exceptional in building teams and creating & sustaining relationships with direct as well as intermediaries and driving consistent efforts in achieving business objectives.

Having commenced worked in 1988 with Oman Insurance UAE, through steady efforts, training and development Ammar progressed to be the branch head of Fujairah Branch.
